    "GPS Turned Off" error when processing in Sage Mobile Payments


    Why do I get an error saying my GPS is turned off when I try to process in Sage Mobile Payments?


    Sage Mobile Payments uses your mobile device’s GPS or Location Service to pinpoint your location on a map. An image of the map is added to the receipt when a transaction is processed. If your device’s GPS is turned off, please turn it on in order to use Sage Mobile Payments.

    If you’d prefer to leave your device’s GPS turned off, log into the Sage Mobile Payments application and click the button in the upper left hand corner (settings menu).


    Choose Merchant Profile;

    then toggle the “Share my location on the receipt” switch to Off, or to the left. You will now be able to process transactions without Location Services
