    Meaning of "-1" response and if it is coming from Sage Mobile Payments application

    Description

    What does the response “-1” mean? I am receiving this message after I swipe or process a payment through the Sage Payments mobile app.


    Resolution

    There are a few factors as to why you would receive the response “-1”.  However, this response code would only show on Android mobile devices and the screen indicates a declined transaction or communication error. To view the decline or any of your transaction history log on to www.mysagemobile.com or follow the steps below to view your transactional history:

    1. Go to My Apps
    2. Choose Sage Mobile Payments. 
    3. Click on the setting icon on the top left
    4. Click on the "Transaction History" option. The system will display your transaction history for the week (you can also extend by selecting the specific transaction).
