    Overview

    This document applies to only those merchants who are using Moneris IPP320 devices and who chose to update PCD 3.0.0.19. If you are using Moneris IPP320 and if you did not update to PCD 3.0.0.19, this document is not meant for you. 

    If you are using IPP320 Standard or IPP320 Bluefin/P2PE/encrypted device, this document IS NOT FOR YOU.

     

    *You must be Administrator on your windows machine to follow all the steps in this guide.

    Un-install “Nuvei Terminal Driver”

    If you have Nuvei Terminal Driver installed on your machine, this step will help you un-install it.

    Exit out of PCD first and confirm that PCD is not running.

    Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features

    Search for Nuvei Terminal Driver

    If you have it installed, you will find it as shown above. If you don’t find it, please proceed to the next step.

    Right click on Nuvei Terminal Driver and select Uninstall.

    Follow the instructions on the screen.

    Install RBASDK Setup

    Go to https://www.sageexchange.com/install/#/sedv2x/en and download Ingenico IPP320 (2 of 2) as shown below.

    Go to your downloads folder and unzip the file ipp320emvsetup2.zip

    From the unzipped folder double click on RBASetup.exe file.

    Follow the prompts on the installation wizard.

    If you have RBASetup previously installed, you will see following instructions.

    Select Modify and click Next. If you don’t have it already installed, follow the instructions on installation wizard.

    Follow all the instructions and finish the installation.
     

    Manually Going to Ver. 2.0.3.29

    Preparing the Folder from 2.0.3.29.zip File

    Receive zip file from Paya Support named “2.0.3.29.zip”. 

    Right click the zip file > Properties and check the checkbox “Unblock”. 

    Click OK. You will be prompted to allow the operation. 

    Select OK/Yes and proceed.

    Unzip the file.

    You should see folder structure as shown below.

    Installation of Ver. 2.0.3.29

    Exit out of Sage Exchange Desktop aka Paya Connect Desktop.

    Open Windows Explorer and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Sage Payment Solutions\Application Deployment\Applications\26A46608D5AA4BF6BA5D5EEA1376D09A

    If you have folder 3.0.0.19 and/or 2.0.3.29 at this location, take the backup and delete both 3.0.19 & outdated 2.0.3.29 folders.

    Copy the folder 2.0.3.29 from previous section bullet # 6 as shown below.

    Paste the copied folder 2.0.3.29 at C:\Program Files (x86)\Sage Payment Solutions\Application Deployment\Applications\26A46608D5AA4BF6BA5D5EEA1376D09A

    You might be prompted to provide admin consent to copy/paste the folder.

    After the folder 2.0.3.29 is copied, your folder structure should look as shown below.

    You should have only one folder with name 2.0.3.29 under folder 26A46608D5AA4BF6BA5D5EEA1376D09A.

    Double click on 2.0.3.29 folder at C:\Program Files (x86)\Sage Payment Solutions\Application Deployment\Applications\26A46608D5AA4BF6BA5D5EEA1376D09A location

    Locate SageExchange.exe, right click and create desktop shortcut.

    Running Fix-Moneris320.zip File

    Receive Fix-Moneris320.zip file was shared with you.

    Right click the zip file and go to Properties to select the unblock option and press Apply>OK(as in previous steps for 2.0.3.29.ZIP file).

    Double click on PCD-3_0_0_19_Fix.bat. 

    You may or may not see the following screen:

    If so, Click on More info and click on Run anyway button.

    If you are prompted to provide admin approval, do so.
     

    *Otherwise, the batch file will execute and complete within a fraction of a second.


    Run Paya Connect Desktop (PCD)

    Go to your desktop and double click the desktop shortcut SageExchange.exe - Shortcut that was saved to Desktop or Folder location

    *Please note; to avoid launch error of Ver 2.0.3.29, you will have to start Paya Connect Desktop from this short cut only. This will start only PCD Version 2.0.3.29. Admins may also set Deny permissions to the InstallSEDUpdate Application and Configuration file from the App’s Properties menu as necessary.


    *You can also verify PCD version by right clicking on PCD icon in system tray > About Paya Connect Desktop.

    If you are prompted to update to Version 3.0.0.19, SKIP the update.
     

    Future Updates to PCD

    In future, when PCD updates are released beyond version 3.0.0.19, and if you choose to update the PCD, please remember to remove the desktop shortcut for version 2.0.3.29. 

    If you don’t update PCD from 2.0.3.29 to higher versions, you can continue using the desktop short cut.
