Moneris IPP320 unable to function on Paya Connect Desktop 3.0.0.19
Paya/Nuvei has identified an error affecting Sage CA Editions using the Moneris IPP320 and the newest update to the Paya Connect Desktop version 3.0.0.19. Reports consist of a missing COM Port assignment within the AppDeploy’s run script that can be seen in the PCD Trace Log. This results to a disabled state to the button within the PCD Sale window, causing the “Tap/Swipe/Insert” button to appear greyed out displaying as “Use Card Reader”.
Resolution:
While Developers continue research issue to the missing Moneris IPP320 library within the latest 3.0.0.19 update, our recommendation, for only these users, is to rollback Paya Connect Desktop to build version 2.0.3.29. Full Admin rights to Windows will be required to manually copy files to the Sage Payment Solutions folder within the Program Files(x86) path.
