Paya Connect Desktop 3.0.0.19 Update Release Notice
Paya/Nuvei launched an application update to Paya Connect Desktop build version 3.0.0.19. This update implements new driver specifications for the upcoming Ingenico Lane 3600 plug & play terminals. These will be a new EMV integrated solution for Sage Software users on Core/Legacy Virtual Terminal and Core gateway integrated resellers.

*Important*
Paya Connect Desktop updates and new installations require full admin rights to local PC or Windows Server environments. In order to successfully deploy the changes and complete the update, or if you should need to remove & install the programs again, we recommend consulting your designated System Administrators for help with procedures &/or optionally bypass the Nuvei Driver installation prompt as necessary.
If you are encountering issues related to Paya Connect Desktop and your software solution it is typically due to an incomplete or partial upgrade. In server environments all users will need to be logged out of the system and the PCD upgrade completed by an Admin at the server. In non-server environments a user with Admin privileges will need to perform the upgrade. All processing issues we have encountered with customers has been resolved by uninstalling and installing the PCD application with Admin privileges.
We do want to note that on the 12th we did see an increased number of processing errors with Sage integrated solutions attempting to process transactions. These attempts resulted in a "500 connection error". These errors where reported and upon further investigation it was found to not be related to the update but to internal connectivity as a result of the deployment. We restored connectivity and the “500 connection error” was resolved.
