    Description

I am receiving an 'Invalid Date' error using a valid expiration date through the Sage Exchange Desktop. How do I correct this?

    Resolution

This error will occur when language and region settings in Simply Accounting and Business Vision are incorrect. To correct this issue please follow the steps listed below:

    1. Go to your Start menu
    2. Click on Control Panel
    3. Clock, Language, and Region
    4. Region and Language

    • Formats Tab - This must be set to French, Canada, or Spanish (United States) and not French (France), Spanish (Spain), or Spanish (Puerto Rico)
    • Please make sure Short Date is set to M/D/YYY
    • Administrative Tab - ‘Current language for non-Unicode programs’ must be set to ‘English (United States)’.
      • You may need Administrative rights for this setting.
    • Restart the Sage Exchange Desktop for the change to take effect (if the change does not take effect, try restarting the PC).

      • Select the Advanced tab and make sure the ‘Language for non-Unicode programs’ must be set to ‘English (United States)’.

        • You may need Administrative rights for this setting.
