Sage Mobile Payments & McKesson Mobile - Unable to swipe credit cards using iOS7
Description
Why am I unable to swipe credit cards using iOS7 when using Sage Mobile Payments or Mckesson Mobile?
Resolution
This is due to a change Apple made in iOS 7 as to how applications are able to access the microphone. There are 2 ways to resolve the issue:
Option 1. Please allow the Sage Payments app to access the microphone when you are presented with the screen below by clicking 'OK.':
Option 2. Please follow the below steps to allow access:
Go to Settings > Privacy > Microphone > Adjust the setting to allow apps to access your microphone and add Sage Payments to the list of apps that can access it freely.
Please note that you must have the swiper plugged into the headphone jack before pressing Swipe Card. If it is not plugged in the app will force close.
