What do "DECLINE CHECK WIN LOC" and "DECLINE CHECK DAY LOC" mean?
When attempting to process an electronic check , you are presented with an error which reads, "DECLINE CHECK WIN LOC," or "DECLINE CHECK DAY LOC," followed by a dollar amount or a number.
A Win LOC is a 7 day rolling period in which a certain dollar total or volume of electronic check transactions can be processed. If, within a given 7 day period, a transaction is attempted that would cause that volume to be exceeded, the transaction will decline with this error message. Review your recent volume and retry the transaction at a time when the limit will no longer be exceeded.
A Day LOC is identical expect that the timeframe is only a single day.
