    Description

When attempting to process an electronic check and you are presented with an error that reads, "DECLINE CHECK WIN LOC" or "DECLINE CHECK DAY LOC" followed by a dollar amount or a number.

    Resolution

A WIN LOC is a 7-day rolling period in which a certain dollar total or volume of electronic check transactions can be processed. If within a given 7-day period, a transaction is attempted that would cause that volume to be exceeded, the transaction will decline with the above error message. Please review your recent volume and re-try the transaction at a time when the limit will no longer be exceeded.

A Day LOC is identical to the WIN LOC and you can expect the timeframe is only a single day.

If your WIN or Day LOC volume needs to be increased due to increasing transaction volume, please contact us at CustomerSupport@eftsupport.com.
