[LOCAL MACHINE]\Software\Sage Payment Solutions\Sage Exchange\URL
The following shortcut can be used to detect a Sage Exchange installation:
[CURRENT USER]\Start Menu\Programs\Sage Payment Solutions\Sage Exchange
The following can be used to detect the Sage Exchange Desktop application is running:
- Send the string “ACK” using the SDK, an “ACK” string response will be returned if the Sage Exchange Desktop is running.
- You can make an AccountQuery call.
- You can check for the process signature “SageExchange.exe” in the process list.
NOTE: 1 and 2 (or the first two bullets above) are preferred as the SDK will start the Sage Exchange Desktop for you if it is not running.
