Uploading a batch file to the Virtual Terminal without settling it

    Products
    Sage Virtual Terminal

    Description

Can the Virtual Terminal accept a batch file upload without settling it?

    Resolution

Yes, it can. You can achieve this by using "02" as the T_code value. This will cause the transactions to process as the Auth Only transaction type, instead of Sale (T_code 01.)

Please note that any finalized Open Batch transactions (Sale, Credit, Prior Auth) will be settled as a result. You will need to sign into the Virtual Terminal to manually capture the imported authorizations once you are ready to settle.

If you have questions or require additional information, please submit a ticket and we will be in touch with you shortly.
