Am I required to enter the card holder’s address and 3 digit security code when I key enter a sale, or can I bypass these prompts?
Yes, it is possible to bypass the prompts in most cases by entering a null value, but this may affect the rates paid on that transaction if the correct billling address is not used. The CVV code will not affect the merchant's rates if it is not used.
However, we strongly recommend that you contact the customer for the billing address on the card and the 3 digit card verification code prior to authorizing a card-not-present sale.
