    The Sage Mobile Payments (SMP) Application closes as soon as the Sage logo is displayed

    Description

    When launching the Sage Mobile Payments (SMP) application on an Apple iOS device, the app crashes as soon as the Sage logo is displayed in white on a green background.


    Resolution

    • Uninstall the app
    • Go to Settings > General > Accessibility
    • Set the BOLD TEXT setting to OFF
    • You'll be prompted to restart the device
    • Once the device restarts, install the SMP app from the App Store
    • Launch the app

    The app should launch and function normally and once the app has been launched successfully, you can turn the BOLD TEXT setting back ON.
